John Roberts 5k Series – Call for volunteers for Race 2 on 25 May 2023

The 2nd race of the John Roberts 5k Series is on Thursday 25 May 2023. Final details will be posted a couple of days before, but registration and food orders (The Angel whisperer and fence fixer (AKA DJ) has been promised that everything will be fine for next time!) is between 18:45-19:15, as it’s a 10 minute walk/short warm-up jog to the start line, with the race starting at around 19:30.

A reminder to bring your numbers with you if possible, it’s good for the planet!

We need you (to volunteer please)

We can’t run these events without our stellar volunteers, helping with course setup, at race HQ and marshaling the route. Club championship points are awarded to these stars.

Timings for the various roles:

• Epic Course Marshals – need to be out on the course before 19:30
• Legendary Registration volunteers – need to be at the Angel (Kelvedon) by 18:40
• Astounding Course Setup volunteers – needed from 18:00 for course setup at The Angel
