    Road or trail
I enjoy both but sometimes fear an injury with trail races. I also love a muddy obstacle race a couple of times a year too!

    Favourite race
You can’t beat the atmosphere from the London Marathon, especially when family and friends are dotted down the course cheering with banners!

    Best running achievement
Running my 2nd London Marathon. Despite missing out on sub-4hrs by 4mins, I had knocked 40mins off my PB and it also gave me the confidence that I could achieve sub-4hrs next time.

    Preferred running brand
    Asics

    Top tip for running
Don’t tie your laces too tight. Allow your feet to expand inside the shoe during the race.

    Best race medal
Phoenix Races (multiple distances). These are massive medals!!!

    Favourite pre-race breakfast
For longer races, 2 bagels – 1 with jam, 1 with peanut butter. Plenty of water!

    Post-race recovery ideas
Some gentle jogging a good amount of time stretching. If you’re by the sea, jump in! Also, eat and drink whatever you want on race day – You deserve it!

    Best Award (not in running)
Top goal scorer for my football team when I was 15! I still have the trophy!

    Charities raced for
I’ve raised money for a range of charities, but for my 2 London Marathon places I raised £2,700 for Little Haven (who my sister was a nurse for) and £3,330 for Farleigh Hospice (who my mum is a nurse for).

Justify whether you think a Jaffa cake is a cake or a biscuit
Isn’t it a running team in Suffolk?!
