Wibbly Wobbly Log Jog

Ian Lucas took part in this evening trail run through the grounds of High Lodge, Thetford Forest. I’m not sure whether it was the log or the jog that was wibbly-wobbly, but Ian managed to wobble his way to the end in 54:08

 

Arthur Whiston 5 mile

This was a new 5 mile race, hosted by Colchester Harriers, in memory of on of their members:

DJ managed a season’s best at 5 miles, this being his third 5 mile race this year. Also of note was the incredibly high ratio of runners in this race who submitted a result – thanks everyone! 😊

 

Ridley Round

This is a self-navigation trail half marathon(ish) taking in several Ridley’s/former Ridley’s pubs on the way.  Scott Darney, Chris Martin, and Chris Pugh were up to the challenge, and all recorded the same time of 2:46:00. Note this is the “without bonuses” time – each drink consumed at a different pub earns 10 minutes off your official time so, depending on how many pints were consumed, the official times could have been much quicker 😊
