2022 John Roberts Summer 5k Series – The Final – Volunteers Needed

It’s now less than a week to go until the grand finale of the 2022 John Roberts Summer 5k Series on Thursday 21st July 2022! If you have entered into one of the three qualifiers over the last few months, then it’s time to get excited. Various lifetime achievements are up for grabs.

Full details of what to expect on the day will be sent out shortly before the event, along with handicaps etc.

Haven’t run one of the qualifiers? Unfortunately we have said this year that running one of the previous events is a prerequisite for entry into the final. I know only a couple of you have asked this question but I suspect there may be a few more in this position. If this applies to you, perhaps you would consider volunteering instead?

As always, we couldn’t run these events without your support, so with that in mind we’re here again to call for volunteers.

We need:

• Course Marshal will need to be at the Angel to collect instructions and a hi-viz by 19:10, before heading out to their marshal point
• Registration/timekeeping will be at the Angel by 18:40
• Course Setup will be needed from 17:45 in Kelvedon

Some of these roles can be done before the run (if you also want to compete). If you’re able to help out then please fill out the form below.
