The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain across Essex which is valid until 10pm tonight. With up to 40mm set to fall there is the potential for localised flooding, so there is a fair chance we will get wet.

However if you’re up for the challenge, don’t let the rain put you off, just bring some dry clothes and shoes and enjoy a nice meal and drink in the pub afterwards feeling pleased with yourself for getting out!

With the potential for bad weather, the roads may also have problems, so please bear this in mind when planning your route to Boreham.
