Pub runs – The Compasses, Littley Green

8 June 2016 - By Stewart Waller

It was a mix of perspiration and precipitation that soaked our returning runners to the pub on Tuesday as a very humid evening eventually gave way to the promising local downpour mid way during the run. I say local because on returning home to Cressing everywhere was still bone dry!

Thirty members managed to dry off however and stay on for food and drink and I believe the service was a tad (lot!) better than we experienced last week at Wickham Bishops.

Next weeks pub is another where the service has always been good. It’s The Generals Arms in Little Baddow (CM3 4SX). It’s also a good route – despite North Hill!

See you there.
