Witham RC at the Essex Grand Prix 2026

Well done to everyone who represented Witham RC in the Essex GP. The standings after Race 7 on 11 October 2026 include some great club results.

Congratulations to Liz Stuckey on third in the women’s V50 category and to our men’s team on third overall. I was also pleased to finish joint third in the men’s Open standings.

Other top-ten results included:

• Sally Hoyle — joint sixth in the women’s Open standings
• Owen Dare — fourth in V60
• Simon Handley — fifth and James Goodey — ninth in V40
• Giles Sowerby — fifth and Jamie Davidson — sixth in V45
• Leo Cole — sixth in V55
• David Jobling — tenth in V65
• Karen Pickering — sixth and Claudia Baba — joint eighth in V40
• Karen Flowers — eighth in V55

Our women’s team placed tenth, with the men’s B team joint 16th. Well done to all our runners on the lists, and thank you to everyone who represented Witham throughout the series.
