Galway Bay Marathon

Over in Galway, Gerry Greenwold got a great PB going under 4hrs for the first time in 3:59:28

Saltmarsh 75 – Official results awaited

As the name suggests, this is run around the Saltmarshes and is 75 miles long, so appeals only to those weird ultra running types.

Matt Jordan decided to give it a go this year. Day 1 was around 62k which Matt finished in 6h 33m and day 2 60k in 7h 37m. Apparently it was hard work!!

Southend Classic 10k

This race will be the county champs 10k in 2019. We had 4 members scouting the course a year in advance with PBs from Sylvie and Sandy on the day.

Lowestoft Half Marathon

Anthony Smith and Chris Gibbons were over in Lowestoft to run up and down the prom 4 times in this flat, fast half. Chris got a big PB in a time of 1:54:04 and Anthony finished in a time of 2:04:14

Bennachie Hill Race, Aberdeenshire

David Stevens was out representing Witham RC north of the border in the 8.2 mile hilly beast coming in 20th with a time of 1:08:12
