Crikey, what a lot of results this week/end! My thanks, as always, to the diligent submitters.
Trifarm 10k (Monday 9th)
Trifarm held one of their regular 10k trail events last Monday, which I think are part of a series, this one being labelled as “Autumn 10k”

Gerry Greenwold | 9 | 59:22 |
Clarice Sanderson | 12 | 1:05:08 |

Suffolk Coastal Path Ultra
Christine Israel-Jones took on this 50k ultra, completing the distance in 6:59:07 and bagging a 50k PB. Well done Chrissy!
Richmond Run Fest Half Marathon
Jodee Mayer was pacing at this packed London event. She was pacing 2 hours 30, and came in at 2:29:31. Room for improvement there 😉
Marathon du Malton 10k
Billed as “Britain’s Tastiest 10k”, I’m sorely disappointed to only just have heard of it!
Starting and finishing in Malton Market, participants are encouraged to “nibble and sip their way around the treat laden course” Lysia Jiggins managed to sample 10k worth of goodies in a time of 2:12:54. Well played!
Pleshey Half Marathon
WRC were out in force for the penultimate County Champs race of the season, an earlier start and favourable conditions meant plenty of PBs. However, sadly it’s transpired since the race that the course distance was off. We understand that Striders are awaiting advice from this on EA. Below are all the PBs that were submitted, but I’m afraid any club records will be subject to the response from EA as to whether times are considered official. Well done to Owen, Mark and Claudia who all bagged County medals – they can’t take those away!

Pen Y Fan 24 hour challenge.
Last word this week is for Clarice Sanderson. Clarice had entered a challenge to run/hike up and down Pen Y Fan in Wales, as many times as possible in a 24 hour period. The run was supposed to be an organised, supported event to raise money for charity. Unfortunately, the event itself fell through, but Clarice decided to continue solo. She managed an amazing NINE reps up and down – at approx. 1500 feet of elevation each time, that’s a total elevation of around 13,500 ft, and a total distance of approx. 35 miles. Amazing!
Well done to all; what a fab weekend of running.
