NESS XC Sunday 13th Jan Ipswich 10.45 all welcome

This Sunday is the next race in the NESS cross country league hosted by Ipswich Jaffa. The cross-country races are great team events and a chance to catch up with other club members over coffee and cake. It is open to all members no matter your ability, no need to pre register just turn up on day and let me or Carina know you are running.

Dont forget your club vest, this must be in the official WRC colours and not the training tops.

The race will again be held on the scenic course at Wherstead and will benefit from the facilities at the Suffolk FoodHall (SFH) (See www.suffolkfoodhall.co.uk). The SFH (Post Code: IP9 2AB, UK Grid Ref: 166 408) is signposted from the A14. Upon arrival please follow directions from the parking marshals. (No parking is allowed in the usual SFH car-park).

These facilities will be available:
– Toilets in the Cookhouse building and the Food Hall building.
– Race HQ in the Studio Barn (which is on ground level close to the Garden Centre). Note this is
not large enough for runners to shelter from any inclement weather.
– Drinks etc can be purchased before the race at the coffee bar in the Food Hall.
– Supply of free coffees/teas and announcement of results after the race in the Feast Room on
the first floor of the Cookhouse building.
All runners should leave their bags either in their cars or in club gazebo. After the race, runners entering any buildings should first change into clean footwear.
