Thursday 9th April Speed Development & SD Champs Race 3

This weeks sees the 3rd race in the SD Championship series before we take a short break and finish off with the big 5 mile Time Trial.

But for now, it’s the 3km TT!

This should be easier to pace having now run a 5km TT and a 1m TT as this distance falls pretty much bang in the middle and so should your pace.

Some things to note…

As per last weeks announcement (line below) we would like those of you who ran a point to point for your 5k to run the same course in reverse where you can, starting where you finished your 5k.

You can also use a similar warm-up and cool down to last week (linek below), adding some strides to your warm-up jog to raise your HR and ready your legs. Bare in mind the extra mile in the TT for your overall mileage.

To clariy, we will take the first time that you submit. We do not encourage you to run more than one effort as you will need to recover even from a TT as short as 3km.

As per last week you have from Thursday to Sunday to submit your time.
