Unfortunately this weekend’s results, while of course cause for celebration, do come mixed with the very sad news of a runner having died at the Southend Half. Our thoughts go out to his loved ones.

 

South Downs Way 100

Matt Jordan ran the South Downs Way, covering 100 miles and 12,700 feet of elevation, from Winchester to Eastbourne, finishing in an impressive 23:40:50. Well done Matt!

 

Boxted 10k

A very scenic, if somewhat hilly race hosted by Boxted Runners. PBs were hard to come by as the course was (at least) 40% off-road as well, however Andrew Read managed to improve on last year’s time by around 13 mins! Well done to Terry Alabaster for an age group first also.
