Hertfordshire Half Marathon

Today I completed the 12th and final half marathon in my challenge in Hertfordshire. The course started and finished in beautiful winter sunshine at Knebworth house. It was a very tough undulating course, the first mile and a half taking us around the scenic hilly countryside of the grounds of Knebworth. The route then headed off out around surrounding rural lanes with lots of up and down hills along the way. After 12 miles we headed back into the Knebworth grounds for the uphill finish.
I had a good run and completed the course in 2 hours 6 minutes 13 seconds. Now on with training for the next years full marathon in April to complete the challenge. I am raising money for the Princes Charities. If you would like to sponsor me I will bring my form along on Tuesday, and thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored me so far.
