WRC Photography Competition

27 March 2020 - By Jason Lilley

Time for something a bit different…it’s a photography competition!  If you’d like to take part, you have two weeks to take a photo while you are out running or cycling.

The theme of your photo should be ‘Nature’.  You can interpret this however you’d like.

Post your photo on our photography competition Facebook post and an independent judge will pick a winner.  The winner will receive a small but awesome prize!

Full rules:

You have until midnight on Easter Sunday (12th April) to submit your photo.

We can only accept one entry per member, so make it a good one!

Your entry must be posted below the relevant post on Facebook.  If you aren’t on Facebook you can email it to ‘webmaster@withamrc.org.uk’ and we’ll upload it for you.  We will put all the submissions in a gallery on the website so everyone can see them all.

Photos must be taken whilst on a run or a bike ride of some sort.

Please ensure you adhere to government guidelines about social distancing etc – any submissions which do not appear to comply will be discounted.

You must take the photo yourself, on a camera phone.

Filters and effects are permitted, but you cannot photoshop your image.  We are experts at this and will know that you didn’t really run on the moon with Usain Bolt.

You can interpret the theme however you like, but you should try to incorporate it somehow, because the judge will take this into account when choosing the winner.

The judge’s decision will be final, and the winner will be announced on the website in due course.

Have fun!
