Six Bells, Boreham Pub Run 17/08/2021 meet 6:45pm

14 August 2021 - By James Attenborough

Please respect the fact that some members may still want to social distance before and post the run.

Please note the meet time of 6:45, the run will start at 7pm prompt , this allows us 15 minutes for chit chat, ordering food and the announcements.

Please once again be aware of our club etiquette, therefore if you’re finding your group are more than 15seconds  per mile ahead of your stated pace, it maybe time to shuffle up a pace group.

Of course if you’re struggling in the group you are in then give yourself an easier run and drop back! The group behind will only be a couple of minutes behind (notify your group leader you are dropping back)!

The pub car park is bigger than last weeks, however if the car park is full, please either park at the Village Hall or again courteously on local roads. Again if you can arrive by foot/bike or car share please do so.

Longer served members will know this route (6.2M) is one of our “bumpier” and longer routes skirting around North Hill. You may want to consider this when selecting your pace group. There is a short road option too of 4.2M.

Also a massive thank you to our resident Boreham expert Sasha Rush who has recced this trail option (5.4M) for us. It’s along the river where the nettles etc are overgrown but passable and provided it remains dry, road shoes should be fine.
