A few points to note

Course Conditions:

Another recce has been carried out yesterday and following the recent rain, the course is soft and slippery in places. Spikes or studs are essential. There are some areas of all weather path (particularly in race 1) but it is possible to run on the grass verges in these areas.

Polite Requests:

Please car share where possible. This is vital as parking is very limited (the car-park uses a number plate recognition system so you pay at one of the various machines before leaving the car-park) There is additional parking approx 1 mile from Notley Park which you will be directed to as necessary on the day. Once this is full competitors will need to find parking although there is a large Tesco’s close by with up to 3 hours free parking.

Absolutely no spikes to be worn inside the building – even if clean.

No muddy footwear to be worn inside the building.

As the café is open to the general public, please do not ‘strip off’ in this area. There are showers and changing rooms available downstairs.

Please do not leave any bags or belongings in the café unattended. You may leave items in the conference room but this will not be guarded so this is at your own liability.

Meal Deal:

The on-site café have agreed to do a special competitors only meal deal – £3.50 for a hot drink + any sandwich, or bacon or sausage butty.
