15 April 2019 - By James Blackshaw

Today on Sesame Street, we’re going to be looking at races that start with the letter ‘B’.

Bromley 10k

Some fantastic performances yesterday at the Club Championship race. Full results are below, but worthy of special mention is Heydon Mizon, who broke a club record that has stood since 1991 with a diamond standard performance. Brigid Wallen ran a new club record by almost 5 minutes with another diamond standard performance. Liz Stuckey also produced a new club record in the F45 category. Also of very worthy note, Mark Austin ran a diamond standard time and his first sub-40 10k, at the tender age 61!

Brighton Marathon

Anthony Smith was our sole participant in the UK’s second biggest marathon, and got round the course in 5:33:37. The was a PB for Tony, and a great last hurrah as he is retiring from marathon running. Great work!

Bungay 10k

Louise Pascoe was racing at place called Bungay in Suffolk at the weekend, in a ‘Festival of Running’, and completed the 10k event in 51:35

Please let me know if I’ve missed your race, result, or PB.
