October CMOTM

Club Member of the Month for October is Tom Ashley, for setting 4 new pb’s during the month.  Tom knocked 4 minutes off his PB’s at both the Chelmsford Half Marathon and the Tiptree 10.  Not content with that, he knocked another 4 minutes off his pb at the second Chelmsford Half Marathon and finished with a 5k PB at the Chelmsford Park Run!

October was a fantastic month of achievements for WRC.  Also nominated were:

Peter Coates – For his fantastic run at the Dorney Marathon in a time of 2 hours 36 minutes and 37 seconds and breaking the Club Record which had previously stood for 25 years

Peter Banks – For his sub-3-hour marathon at the Chelmsford Marathon

Sarah Naughton – For running a PB at the Chelmsford marathon which was her 8th marathon/ultra this year

James Blackshaw – For completing the A100 mile race in less than 23 hours

Jason Lilley – For supporting James Blackshaw on his 100-mile run, pacing him at midnight for the last 25 miles of James’s run which ensured James finished the event and then driving him home

Sharon Read – For her fantastic sub-4-hour Loch Ness marathon, following a great few months of training which included some great race results along the way

Andrew Watson – For achieving a PB in the Chelmsford half, a PB and gold Standard at Tiptree and Wix 5

Terry Alabaster – For representing Witham in 4 races in October and always being a supportive running friend
