NESS XC – Last Race of the Season – Gosfield 17th February

NESS CROSS COUNTRY LEAGUE SUN 17^th FEB 2019

GOSFIELD SCHOOL, HALSTEAD ROAD, GOSFIELD CO9 1PF

IMPORTANT – LIMITED PARKING, CAR SHARING ESSENTIAL

10:45 SENIOR RACE     approx 5 miles

The school is situated close to Gosfield village on the Halstead Road.

The school hall will be available for toilets/changing with additional facilities in the sports pavilion but space there is very limited so please do not leave any kit bags. Please respect the school buildings by not wearing muddy shoes inside.

NEW COURSE – we will start and finish at the school and run into the woods as usual but we now have permission to use a farmer’s field adjacent to the wood. We can only run around the field edge so absolutely no corner cutting or this could be the one and only time we use this route! Gaining this extra distance will allow us to shorten the run in to the finish when you re-emerge from the woods.

There is only a short stretch on the stony main track so spikes recommended.

Please get your free drink at the pavilion after the race then vacate the area to allow access for others.

Remember Club T-Shirts or vests and most importantly your spikes or trail shoes.
