Halstead Marathon water station

12 March 2019 - By Stewart Waller

The Halstead Marathon will take place on the 12th May and once again we will be manning (and womanning) our customary water station which serves the runners at approximately the 6 and 18 mile marks.

This is a good opportunity to not only assist our friends at Halstead Road Runners but to also support out fellow club members taking part in the race whilst collecting those crucial club championship points!

Those who have helped in previous years will confirm that, whatever the weather, it is a lot of fun so please make a note of the date and let me know if you are available.

I will, of course, post an aide-memoire later but, in the meantime, if you are looking for a marathon to compete in then the Halstead is not to be missed. It is consistently voted one of the top in the country and is extremely well organised so why not give the gently undulating course a try?

See you there.
