And for our final CMOTM of 2025… well done to Karen Flowers! This has been awarded for taking on the role of Race Director for BD5. Karen does so much for the club in her role as chair (which of course we don’t get to nominate her for!), so to take on RDing of our flagship race, and make it a great success, really is above and beyond. Well done, Karen!

Well done to our other nominees for December:

• Lisa Leader -For her commitment to training to grab herself a PB on a 5mile course – achieving it at the Southend Rudolph Run in 43:55. Plus she’s always at club every Tuesday and Thursday.
• Owen Dare – For being the reigning Club Champ for a second successive season.
