A hearty congratulations to our CMOTM for March 2026: Shane Ketteridge – Shane is going from strength to strength with his marathon training, and this month he paced at the Colchester half and ran his first 20-mile race. Well done Shane, and good luck in London!

Well done to all of our other nominees for March 2026:

Georgia Blofeld – Stunning 5k PB at the last race at the track.

Angela Read –For Cambridge HM course PB and Bronze standard.

Claudia Baba (Ramona) – Such a great club member, she volunteered to run 2 legs at the Essex Road Relay when someone had to pull out.

Andy Watson – For always showing up; for always supporting the less experienced members; for being one of the nicest and most humble people around. And he seems to get faster and stronger with age, evidence of his dedication to showing up to Tuesdays, Thursdays and SLRs.

Ian Cuthbert – for continued improvement and dedication to running seeing him bank PBs at the Chelmsford HM, Club 5k & the Essex 20 – he also undertook pacing duties at the Colchester HM as part of his marathon training.

Jamie Light – Jamie balanced training for a first marathon with races at the Chelmsford 10k, Club 5k, Colchester HM & the Essex 20 – banking PBs at 5k & HM.

Sam Hajder – for his hard work and commitment to training, again smashing his Half Marathon PB this time at Cambridge and having an amazing speedy debut run at the Essex 20.

Group – Will Radley, Heydon Mizon and Richard Joisce for Team Gold at the Essex 20.
