Club Champs Update August 2024

The Club Champs tables have now been updated to include the Summer 5k Handicap, Colchester FNR 5k, and Bentley and Ingatestone 5 mile races.

There’s no change to the lead in either category, but it’s getting close! In the mens’ table the top 3 is unchanged, but all have increased their scores. Jamie and Will still have a race in hand on Dan, but Owen is bearing down (up?) on them, with only 3 distances completed so far. Celine is still the leading lady, but our esteemed Chair is charging up the table with one distance in hand.

The remaining official Club Champs races are:

• Pleshey half marathon on 15th September (COUNTY CHAMPS/SOLD OUT)
• Langham 10k on 22nd September
• Tiptree 10 miles on 13th October SOLD OUT
• Stebbing 10 miles on 10th November (COUNTY CHAMPS/SOLD OUT)

There are also still NESS and Essex XC races (ones before the end of the year) for commitment points, and of course BD5 volunteering! Essex Way (running and volunteering) also counts, but teams/volunteers for that are already fixed 🙂   And of course, you can still wildcard one distance (not a 5k), but you must let me know if you want to do that.
