Angel 5k Results

Great turnout last night for our first Angel 5k race in over two years. As always a massive thank you to all the volunteers, without which our club races couldn’t happen. Dave Jobling, for the equipment retrieving, course marking and marshalling; Adam Regan, Tom Ashley, Katie Layley, Jenny Layley, Ann Johnson, Ben O’Leary, Maxine Leech for the course marshalling; James Attenborough for assisting with the course marking; Liz Prior and Jodee Mayer for the start/finish team, making sure all your times are recorded correctly.

Some big runs for many people, and quite a few PBs, but the big news of the night was a huge course record, taking 41 seconds off the previous record: Amazing work Mr Peter Coates!! (Also, special mention to Ryan Day, who would have broke the course record had it not been for Peter’s amazing run.)
