Park Life Session – August 1st

Sasha and I look forward to seeing you on Thursday night – the temperature has dropped so no excuses!!!!

We will meet at the Witham Leisure Centre at 7:30pm and after a short briefing we will do a short jog to the park, followed by warm up drills.

Then the efforts start!
Running 2 laps of about 400m each (one slightly longer than the other) in a figure of eight.
Your pace around the edge of these two fields should be ‘sub chatter’ so in other words faster than your 5K pace.
After one lap, you will have a walk/ slow jog recovery to the next park for your next effort
This will be repeated for 30 minutes
We would suggest that you adjust your recovery through the 30 minutes to ensure that you maintain your pace during the efforts
After session we will run back to the Centre for a cool down

As with every efforts session this is for ALL abilities.
The temperature is forecast to be just above 20 degrees so please bring water and smother yourself with bug spray.
