London Marathon Coach

Hello all! I can now announce that the London Marathon coach has been booked for the big day (many thanks to Terry Alabaster for your help!).

For those new to the club, we run a coach every year that takes runners and spectators up to London and brings us all safely home again! It’s a stress-free way for those running to get there as they are dropped right at the start, and a great day out for the supporters. We have a 49 seater coach so ther should be plenty of room for everyone.

It is a long day – starting at 0600 at Witham Football Club car park and finishing at 1730 when the bus picks us up from Northumberland Ave close to the finish.

Our spectators’ vantage point is on Tower Bridge just before the half way mark, and a great position to see all the runners as they whizz by. Conveniently, there is a Wetherspoons pub where the they can make the most of a hearty breakfast to fuel the day!

Coach prices remain the same as last year – £15 for members and £20 for non members. Cheaper than the train!!!

Payment via the website member’s area “pay for items” option secures a place. Final details will be added nearer the time. We hope that lots of you will come along to get behind our runners and cheer them on their way!
