Witham 8 navigate the Stort

On a misty Sunday morning 8 club members headed to Bishops Stortford for the Stort 30 Ultra Marathon along the river Stort navigation. The route was fairly flat with some great views and barges and locks aplenty.

Many thanks to the great team of supporters who cheered us on at every checkpoint, Tony Wallen, Mark Austin, Theresa Montgomery, Becks and Rob Grimwood, Martyn Byford with Albert, Kerry Townsend and any others I may have missed. A great effort by all with a special mention to Brigid Wallen and Penny Clarke who came second in their age categories. Results be!ow.
