Here are a few results from the last few days.

On Thursday, five from the club took part in the first race in the Maldon Summer 5k handicap series. Andy Lager was first of our runners to finish in a new PB of 19:15. Geoff Reddin was next back in 24:37, followed by Louise Pascoe in 25:33 and Karen Flowers in 27:47. Brigid Lager completed a family PB double by setting her new best in 32:01.

Over the weekend, Ross was our only runner out at the High Easter 10K finishing in 51:55. Dave Campbell ran in the ‘Judgement Day’ half. He finished in 2:04:16 in 21st place and to put this in context, his time was over 37 slower than his road PB, which gives you a sense of the difficulty of this trail half marathon! Finally Bill and Jo Smythe ran in the Bledgebury Pinetum 10 trail race. I don’t have times for them at the moment, but sounds like this was another challenging trail run!
