Results 6/4/25
7 April 2025 - By Natalie Lilley
Marathon season kicked off with a bang this weekend, with some amazing performances in unexpectedly warm conditions.
Brighton Marathon
This popular alternative to London is the UK’s third largest marathon. We had 7 runners (that I know of) taking part, all doing brilliantly in the hot weather.
Tim Rivers | 4:33:47 | |
Joshua Maleary | 4:34:31
Stamatios Katsimis | 4:36:56
Amy Maleary | 4:54:11 | 45 minute PB! |
Nicola Digby | 5:15:58 | First marathon! |
Isabella Rivers | 5:26:21
Beth Shippey | 6:06:04 | First (and only) marathon! |
Lake Garda Marathon
James Attenborough and Sian Tate flew off to Italy, for what sounded like a beautifully scenic marathon (or “42” as the race website prefers). Hot and windy conditions made for a tough time, but both came away with PBs. Well done both!
James Attenborough | 4:15:26 (PB) |
Sian Tate | 5:01:51 (PB) |
Hannover Marathon
Alex Stuckey was in Germany for the Hannover marathon, finishing in 4:06:26. Well done Alex!
London Landmarks Half Marathon
Megan Wilson went to London to take in the sights at this popular (nearly 20,000 runners!) half. She completed the course in 2:16:51
Saltmarsh Half Marathon
Hosted by H&T, this half is almost entirely off-road, along the Saltmarsh Coast Trail beside the River Crouch from South Woodham Ferrers to Burnham-on-Crouch.
Vicky Riley | 2:09:16 |
Danny Crates | 2:17:48 |
Samuel Williams | 2:22:08 |
Louis Kitchener | 2:27:53 |
Please let me know if I’ve missed any results or PBs. Thanks as always to those who submitted their results.
