Runners were spread out among a few different events this bank holiday weekend, with most of you off on your own on the trails. Thank you to those who submitted results. I did manage to pick up another couple on Strava, but submissions are always appreciated, thank you 😊

 

Swan Left or Right Trail

Terry Alabaster was at this MEC trail event, where seemingly you could choose to set off either to the left or right. Terry opted for “long route right”, although of course, being Terry, he also decided to run an extra mile, finishing in 1:04:38

 

Isle of Wight Cross Island Challenge

Celine Elson took on this 30k trail route across the Isle of Wight. She finished 9^th overall and second lady, in  04:14:16. Well done Celine!

 

Spring VXV

This H&T event offers options for 5, 10, or 15 miles. Ross Silverton opted for 10 miles, and finished in 1:50:45.

 

Run Breckland Euston Estate Half Marathon

Ben Roberts was in Norfolk (not London, as I first thought!), running around the Euston Estate grounds for the half marathon course, finishing in 2:25:40

 

Copenhagen Marathon

More Strava stalking revealed that we had two members out in Denmark for the marathon. Well done both!

Milton Keynes half

Stamatis Katsimis was our sole representative at this one, from fishing in 1:47:49

 

And finally, we of course hosted our own May Day 5 mile race today. A handful of members ran, after kindly volunteering with set up duties:
