A busy weekend saw members taking on a real variety of events, from 10Ks and Half Marathons – including the Great North Run – to 50k and 50 mile ultras on the Suffolk Coast, C2C rail line and Thames Path. Individual highlights include PBs for Giles Sowerby and Stamatios Katsimis at Pleshey, (this year’s County Champs HM), with Stam also completing his Gold Standard, and an Essex V45 silver medal for Giles. Stephen Boxall was 3rd MV45 at Basildon HM, and David Kelly was 1st MV70 at the Suffolk Coastal Path 50k.
