I’ve had a nice quiet Sunday evening for the last few months, no results to write, just happily watching reruns of old Arsenal matches (when they were good, y’know, the unbeaten season), and imbibing my liver with equal amounts Peroni and Malbec.
And now this. Two sets of results in a week. Hope you’re happy with yourselves.
WRC Virtual Summer 5k – Race 1 (and Rogue Race 1 results)
The first instalment of our virtual 5k series, which is running alongside the Rogue Running 5k series. The similar feature of both events is that you show improvement over the series, so for more details please see Scott’s post. By the way, we know some of you were sandbagging. Great Virtual Race Across Tennessee – Progress Update
We’ve got 21 members of the club currently taking part in this 1021km virtual run across Tennessee, which started on May 1st, and has to be completed by August 31st. Currently, after one month, everyone is on schedule to finish, and Pete Banks is set to finish with nearly two months spare, which is pretty good going. Current standings are below, but this is only up to and including 30th of May, as their tracker is a day behind. It’s a good time to show the results though, as I’m currently in front of Karen Flowers (which is rare), and it doesn’t show that Jason Lilley is past 200 miles, which I know will annoy him. Anyway, well done all, only another 2/3 months to go!
