Matterhorn Ultraks Extreme Skyrace

If it’s got the word extreme in it, it probably involved Matt Jordan. Climbing approx. 3000 feet over 25km, I assume over the Matterhorn. “the route passes through mountain lakes along cliffs and over the glacier”. I can’t find results for this yet, but Strava shows Matt completed this in 6 hours 20 mins.

 

Gosfield Backyard Ultra

James Blackshaw gave this new BYU a try. For those new to the Backyard Ultra format, it’s a “last one-standing” event where you must complete the 4.167-mile loop on the hour every hour until only 1 runner remains.

This loop was around the grounds of Gosfield school, and James completed 15 loops, for a total distance of 62 miles/100k. Again, the theme of the weekend seems to be no official results, but we’ll take his word/Strava for it 😊

Helen Rollason Rural Ramble

This is a charity 10 mile trail ramble or trail run hosted by our friends at Helen Rollason.

Ross Silverton completed the trail run in 2 hours 15, watch time (no official results for this).
