Following the recent heatwaves, running at night seems to be the preferred option this weekend!

Ipswich Twilight 10k

David Jobling was our only runner at this Friday evening fixture. He finished in 51:50. Well done DJ!

St Cuthbert’s Way Ultra

Ian Cuthbert managed to find a race with his name on it, and so felt compelled to take on the 44 miles distance, with over 6,000 of elevation. Starting at midnight, Ian ran through the night and finished in 13:41:22. Incredible!

Christine Israel-Jones had to retire after a marathon with an injury and we wish her a speedy recovery.

Scouting for Girls

I’m not sure if Ross and Terry were looking for the  band or actual girls, but according to their watches (MEC official results not yet available) Ross managed to find them in 4 miles (54 minutes) whilst it took Terry a half marathon (1:58:38). Great work both!
