Other than the Essex Way Relay, which will have its own post, it was a weekend of two halves 😊

 

Northstowe Half Marathon

This was a mixed terrain half in Cambridgeshire. Only three entrants, but with a first place and a new club record between them!

 London Big Half

With the “Big” presumably referring to the number of entrants (thousands!), we had 5 WRC runners out. Special mention to Dawn Shilling, who has raised over £1,200 for Farleigh Hospice through her sponsored runs.

A late entrant – Mark Austin was at the Engaine 5 mile race, and finished in 6th place in 35:33
