National Cross Country Champs – Sat 24th Feb – Entry Deadline on Friday

8 January 2018 - By Scott Darney

The National Cross Country Championships take place at Parliament Hill in London on Saturday 24th February and we currently have a couple of runners signed up but please note that the deadline to enter is this Friday, 12th January.

It will be a very high standard of racing but the great thing about this event is that all abilities are welcome to participate. Entrants will get the chance to take on the notoriously tough course at Parliament Hill and compete against some of the best cross country runners in the country. Don’t be put off if you are not one of the faster runners, if you like Cross Country then it is definitely a race to tick off!

Anyone who wishes to take part will need to hold an EA license and be a Permanent Resident of the UK – please see below link for further details on qualification and how to enter.

Please also note that this is the same day as the WRC Awards Evening at Benton Hall so those that need get back to freshen up may want to consider if they have enough time based on race times below:

1.05pm Junior Women (6km) *Ages 17, 18, 19
1.35pm Junior Men (10k) *Ages 17, 18, 19
2.20pm Senior Women (8km) *Ages 20 and over
3.00pm Senior Men (12km) *Ages 20 and over
*Based on age at 31st August 2017

Hope to see some of you there!

Thanks,

Scott Darney
