A return to some group running 

Informal group running with a maximum of 6 people continues with the running buddies, if you want to run in one of these smaller informal groups whilst maintaining social distancing please speak to Liz Prior or myself.

Results 

Box End Triathlon 

Congratulations to Anita Grainger who travelled to Bedford to compete in the Box End Olympic Distance triathlon. The event was in the new time trial format setting each swimmer off at 30 second intervals in pre determined swim speed order.

Run (10.2km) 1hr1min 50

Total 2hours 44

 

Virtual Essex Way Relay 

Results are starting to come in. Please post in the FB group.

Boxing Day 5 

The committee will be meeting to discuss if we should run the Boxing Day 5 this year. With the additional measures needed to keep runners safe there would be a need for a larger number of volunteers to ensure this is successful and could be done safely. We would also need extra first aid cover.

 EA weekly 30 run challenge 

The EA weekly 30 continues with 4 members running this week. WRC finished 13th this week and stay in 14th in the overall team scores. You can still sign up and join the WRC team, it’s just 30 minutes each weekend. Details in post.

Self Isolation & support
