Last weekend saw triathlon action in sprint and Olympic distance triathlons

Sprint:(750km swim/20kmbike/5kmrun)

Olympic/Standard (1500m swim/40kmbike/10kmrun)

13th July Eton Dorney Sprints 

Anita headed off to Eton Dorney for the European qualifier event. Nice wet morning!  & speed is coming back after whooping cough finishing in 1.25.26, splits below

14th July Gosfield Triathlon

Ruth and Heydon Mizon were in action at Gosfield Tri whilst Anita marshalled. Ruth took on the sprint whilst Heydon did the standard distance  It was Ruth’s first open water triathlon which she had a panic in the water but pulled through and took time to get back together in T1 before heading out on the bike. Heydon has been working on his swimming and was pleased to finish the swim and had a good bike and run leg getting an overall PB.

14th July Eton Dorney Sprints

Katie Layley was in action at Eton Dorney on Sunday taking part in the sprint tri finishing in 1.20.21
