Anita headed to Mallory Park race track in Leicestershire for the British Sprint Triathlon Championships & European 2025 Qualifier.

Surprisingly with all the warm weather it was a wetsuit swim, with the water temp measured as 21.4 . The bike (draft legal) consisted of 7 laps of the race track incuding 2 deadturns and a hill  round devils corner. The run was 4 laps in the paddock and out along the side of the track.

Anita had a good race with pace coming back after illness. There was a hairy moment on the bike when she nearly got taken out by another rider on one of the dead turns but luckily no crash. Unfortunately it looks as though she was 45 seconds outside the qualification criteria for next year’s europeans. So close! times below;
