Track 5k. Friday 7th April

This Friday sees the first track 5k of the year, held as usual at the Braintree Leisure Centre track, Panfield Ln, Braintree CM7 1FF. The track 5ks don’t form part of the Summer 5k series but are a useful tool in putting a line in the sand. It’s a good opportunity to see how your speed work has held up over the winter, so why not come and test yourself.

Prompt arrivals by no later than 7:30pm to allow for warms ups and a 7:45pm start. The evening will be hosted by our Chairman Marc as I, James Kennerley, will be in (hopefully) sunnier climes.

As always we will need a timekeeper and 3 or 4 lap counters, so if you are available and not inclined to run, please let me know if you can lend a hand.
