Speed Development Session: 26th February 7.30pm

Hi All.
Karen and I look forward to seeing you at our Speed Development Session on Thursday 26th February.
This weeks session comprises 8 x 90 seconds efforts, each followed by 60 seconds recovery, then with a 2 minute rest after the last effort. Then onto 8 x 45 seconds efforts each followed by a 45 second recovery.
The aim of the session is to run around your 5k pace and for the pace to be the same or slightly quicker after each effort. Please note though that there are lots of reps, so don’t start too fast! Recoveries to be walking/static.
Please complete a 1-2 mile warm up before arriving at the meeting place, and we will then undertake dynamic stretches & drills prior to the session.
Venue: we will head back to the Redrow estate this week, meeting up 7.30pm, at the junction of Porter Way/Raven Drive (///daisy.dish.empire).
There are lots of places to park on the Redrow estate but please park considerately, perhaps use parking at Aldi at the Haygreen Rd sports ground, then use jog to meeting place as part of your warm up.
Remember that hi-vis and/or lights are compulsory.
