St Peter’s Way

We had 6 runners taking on this 43 mile ultramarathon from Ongar to St Peter’s chapel in Bradwell on sunday, and some amazing performances. Hayley Ellen, in her first ever ultra, was first lady over the line (out of the whole field, not just WRC), and Gavin Laws came 3rd overall, while also breaking the unofficial WRC record for the course by approximately 20 mins.

European Triathlon Championship

Angela Wray was representing Team GB in the 35-39 age group  at the Sprint Triathlon European Championships in Valencia. She finished in a total time of 1:13:37 (swim 13:34, bike 35:40, run 21:42), and despite hopping off the bike briefly to dislocated her shoulder, managed to finish in 9th place. Great work!

I See No Ships Trail

Geoff Reddin and Andy White were at the Essex Trail Event for the 8 mile course, and finished together in 1:36:55.

Our CMOTM Andy Notley didn’t feel bad about giving it some serious “He-He” and dancing like MJ at this marathon night walk around the big smoke. Despite it being in the dark, he didn’t stop until got enough, and finished in 8hours and 9 minutes.

Great work everyone. Let me know if I’ve missed your race or result.
