Loads of results this week. Seems like everybody and their mum was taking part in a race this week. Like who? Runners. Who else? Runner’s mums.
A hot day down on the south coast for this popular marathon. Great performances from all, and good to see that everyone chose to take the ultra option.

Ingatestone: A place that is famous only for having a saddlery, a 5 mile race, and easily accessible rail links.
Special mention to Pete Banks who was 1st V40, and 5th overall, also to the team placings.

Shazza and Gezza were at this ‘marathon prep’ 20 mile race, both putting in great performances.

Octavia Singleton – 45:05 (5th)

Angela Wray was our sole runner at this trail 5k, and was 1st lady and 3rd overall, finishing in 22:01.
Clarice Sanderson was our only runner at this one, and unfortunately I cannot find the official results, but 55:56 is her Strava time. Excellent work, nonetheless.
Rachel & Ben and their four-legged buddies Lola and Trixie ran around this 10km route together. Good work crew.

Essex Cross Country Series – Weald Park
Ross Silverton was at the latest instalment of the of this series of trail 10k races across Essex, and finished in 1:02:03, coming first in his category. Great work Ross!
World Aquabike World Championship
Andy Notley was in Holland for the aquabike world championship, which involved swimming 3.8k and cycling 180km. He came 4th in category, and finished in 5:55:43. Impressive.
Coast To Coast
James Crisp took on this tri-sport challenge, incorporating a 7 mile run, a 76 mile multi terrain bike course, and then a half marathon run, followed by a kayak section. Amazingly, Mr C finished joint first! Fantastic work!
Outlaw Half Ironman Triathlon
We had quite a crew at this half ironman distance triathlon, encompassing a 1.2 mile swim, and 55.3 mile cycle, and a 13.1 mile run. Alex
