Stour Valley Path 50km Ultra

We had 7 brave souls take on the hills and the heat around Constable country on Sunday at the SVP50. This year had one of the highest DNF rates of recent years, and it unfortunately included two of own number, but still massive kudos to Natalie Lilley and Jodee Mayer, who put in huge efforts, but pulled out of the race due to various issues.

Big congrats to all our finishers, and especially to Terry, who managed to go 20 minutes quicker here than at the flatter, cooler Writtle Wround 50k a few weeks back, and to Karen, for completing her first ultra.

Race For Life – Pretty Muddy

Liz Prior, Katie Layley, Rachel Dingley and Abby Reilly ran around this 5km race as one, finishing together in 37:42. The ‘Pretty Muddy’ bit is what the race is called by the way, not my opinion of how they looked when they finished. I thought they only looked muddy.

Well done everyone, let me know if I’ve missed your race or result.

JB
