Pub runs – The Generals Arms.

20 July 2018 - By Stewart Waller

Another hot evening faced those members arriving for the ‘hill climb’ from The Generals Arms. It didn’t put people off though as I understand that, with the footie over, there was once again a good turnout with 20 staying on for food. But now for something completely different next Tuesday. A new pub (for us that is) with a ‘championship’ course that will, in parts, be familiar to a lot of you.The pub is The Swan in Rayne (CM77 6RQ) where there will be plenty of parking (for a change!) on the field behind the car park. The ‘championship’ course has been planned, plotted and reccied by none other than our mens club champion Heydon Mizon who apparently managed to do it without getting lost. In any case it will at least be flatish taking in The Flitch Way.
Hopefully another a good attendance can be expected and as it is a new pub please try to support it – we may want to return next year.
See you there.
Stew
