Pub runs – The Compasses, Littley Green

When I arrived (late) at The Compasses and saw the number of cars parked along the road I thought that, despite the weather conditions, we had a record turnout but although the attendance was good we were actually sharing the venue with contingents from the Striders and Grange Farm. Had we known earlier we could have arranged a race! Perhaps it is just as well that we didn’t as, looking at some of our members upon their return, the route/pace obviously turned out to be a bit tough.

This would have been good preparation for next Tuesday however, when we visit The Generals Arms in Little Baddow (CM3 4SX). Downhill to start with a gentle climb back to the pub. Alternatively, those of you who did this pub run last year will know that the trail route option is very popular. Enjoy!
