Pub runs – The Compasses, Littley Green.
2 August 2016 - By Stewart Waller
Despite the damp weather and humid conditions there was a surprisingly good turn out for our run from The Compasses. A slightly longer route than usual saw at least one member trying to make it easier by abandoning his car half way round but all made it back to the pub where 20 stayed on for food plus many more for drinks. For some, however, it was getting a bit gloomy by the time we saw the pub lights which suggests that if you are in one of the slower groups it may be time to find where you put the hi-viz!
Next week we are back to a very popular venue, The Old Crown, Messing.
Famous for its food and a route that takes in part of the Tiptree 10 we should see another high attendance but be warned – parking ain’t easy so car share if you can.
See you there.
Stew
