Pub runs – The Compasses, Gt Totham

Numbers were slightly lower on Tuesday for our run from The Compasses no doubt due to at least one other event taking place. 23 members did, however, stay on for food on what was a warm and ‘sticky’ evening which, for one or two of us, didn’t aid the longish gradual climb back to the pub.

Next week our penultimate summer pub run will be from The Green Dragon in Gt Leighs. (CM77 8QN)
Despite our intended earlier visit to this hostelry having to be cancelled due to a double booking I can confirm that this one will go ahead and the Hayloft dining area will be all ours.

Always a popular and interesting route I expect that there will be a good turnout.
