Mud and Mayhem at Thetford Forest

On Sunday Alex Stuckey, Mat Pearsons, Stuart Mills and Tony Wallen went to Thetford Forest to take part in the Mud and Mayhem off-road Duathlon, comprising a 5.8kms run, 20.5kms bike and a final 5.8kms run.

The course was all on the fire roads around the forest but this just meant it was flat out from start to finish!

Stuart had a great race, finishing 1st in his age group and 2nd overall, with Tony finishing 25th overall and 5th in his age group and Mat not too far back, finishing 47th overall and 16th in his age group.

Alex retired with a DNF after getting lost on the bike course, although this was easier to do than one might think as there were a few places the signage could’ve been better – Stuart also went off course but managed to get back on track without losing too much time.
