Membership Policy Update

We have made a small amendment to the Club’s membership policy regarding photography.
We have had a disclaimer in the policy for a while which said that photographs may be taken at club events and may be shared on the club website, social media, and occasionally with the local press. We have now added a further sentence which reads as follows:
“In some cases, photographs may be used by third parties, but only where this is deemed appropriate and approved by the Committee. Please speak to a member of the Committee if you have any concerns about this or wish to be excluded from any images shared with third parties.”
The intention of this is to allow the club to occasionally share images with carefully selected third parties (such as race organisers etc) in order to raise the profile of the club. This will only be done after careful consideration by the Committee.

If you would like to ‘opt out’ of having your image published, either internally by the club or otherwise, please let myself or a member of the committee know.
